A hard rain's gonna fall: Management/music senior Michael Scott and nutrition and human development senior Margaret Harlan don't allow Thursday's rains to keep them from praying for the victims of the terrorist attacks one month ago.


 

One month after hijackers slammed airliners into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania, killing more than 5,000 people, President George W. Bush gave his assessment of "the state of the war against terror" in a press conference Thursday evening.


Despite being overshadowed by a bombing campaign, the Houston mayoral race took center stage on KHOU's Wednesday-evening televised debate.


Listening to Rosie Flores' latest release, Speed of Sound, I'm reminded of my childhood and the kind of albums my dad used to play for me -- Glenn Miller, the Manhattan Transfer, maybe even Ella Fitzgerald. 


UH quarterback Kelly Robertson wonit suit up for at least the next two weeks because of an injury suffered during the Army game.
