All the pretty colors: A multi-colored collection of hot-air balloons sails over the Clear Lake/NASA area Friday as part of the Balunar Liftoff. The event is held in conjunction with NASA's annual open house. Look for a feature story on the event in Wednesday's Daily Cougar.

 

The Student Government Association has formed a task force on campus safety in response to the sexual assault reported by a UH student in late October.

Twenty-two year old r&b singer/actress Aaliyah was killed when a small plane carrying her and eight others cashed after taking off from the Bahamas.


The UH Department of Intercollegiate Athletics reached an agreement with Clear Channel Communications to broadcast Cougar football and men's basketball for the next three years, from 2001-02 through 2003-04.
