Pulitzer winner proposed a transition to 'clean energy'

Texas generates more "greenhouse emissions" (compounds that become trapped in the ozone layer of the atmosphere) than any other state in America. In fact, if Texas were an independent nation, it would the seventh-highest producer of such emissions in the world.
 

Black community meets candidates

The gathering, titled "The Press, The Public & Politics," was moderated by City Council member Jew Don Boney, a longtime member of the Houston Association of Black Journalists.
 

SVN to resume broadcasting in spring with new studio

When the university's Student Video Network resumes broadcasting next semester, it will do so from a new, digitally-equipped studio.
