Principles of justice warrent capitol punishment

Those in support of the death penalty are not very popular around college campuses. Aside from the pronounced slant to the political left, most students grow up hearing one side of the issue for most of their lives, and then find themselves asking such inevitable questions as "Why do we have the death penalty?"
