Pin Lim/The Daily Cougar

Easter is early this year: Olga Holowka Palmer, right, with her husband Bill Palmer and goddaughter Andrijka Macko, 12, applies designs to "pysanky," or Ukranian Easter eggs, during the St. Cyril & Methodius Annual Slavic Heritage Festival held Sunday at the UH Athletic/Alumni Center.

Beginning in Fall 2002, new students will have to meet tougher requirements in order to be accepted into the Bauer College of Business.
Every time I drive between UH and my house, I pass the big Fingers Furniture at Interstate 45 and Cullen Road. As I drove by a few weeks ago, I saw a man carefully affixing an American flag to the side of the building, where it hangs proudly.
Why do some filmmakers try to feed audiences feeble and all-too-familiar parallels just to eke out every tear they possibly can?

That's not to say UH gave up. The Cougars scored two touchdowns in the final frame, albeit when the game was out of reach.
