Law library get new entrance way due to flooding

When Tropical Storm Allison slammed into the University of Houston, the hardest-hit building on campus was the UH Law Center, particularly

Rushdie, author once marked for death, to speak in series

Salman Rushdie, the British author whose death was ordered by the late Iranian ruler Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in 1989, will visit Houston's
Alley Theatre Sept. 10 as part of the UH Creative Writing Program's Margaret Root Brown Houston Reading Series.
