Readin' and Ritin': Inprint Incorporated and the UH creative writing program will hold an evening with U.S. Poet Laureate Billy Collins
and Haitian-American writer Edwidge Danticat as part of the Margaret Root Brown Houston Reading Series at 7:30 p.m. at the Cullen Performance Hall. Students and senior citizens get in free; others may offer a $5 donation. For more information, visit the Web site

ALD-PES: The Alpha Lamda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Societies will hold their last meeting of the semester at 6 p.m. in the Tejas
Room, UC. The meeting will be used to finalize plans for ice skating, social and Thanksgiving community service events. An alternate

Cheap eats: Students from UH's nutrition program invite everyone to enjoy Greek cuisine from noon to 1 p.m. in the Cameron Building
lobby. The cost of the lunch is $5 and includes a Greek salad, grilled chicken stuffed pita (or spinach/feta pita), roasted potatoes,

Biryani and kabaab: The Muslim Students Association invites all students to attend a Muslim/Christian dialogue held at 4:30 p.m. in
