"We have entered a new era, and this era requires new responsibilities, both for the government and for our people," President George W. Bush told the
nation in a televised Thursday-night address in an effort to shore up American morale after nearly two months of news about terrorism and war.

The concept of checks and balances of power is supposed to be a hallmark of our government. Unfortunately, it may be rapidly diminished due to "Fast
Track" legislation.

Apparently, talented young actors are having trouble finding decent work.

The bad news: Today finds the Cougars winging their way to Louisville, Ky., to face the high-flying Cardinals in Saturday's showdown at Papa John's Stadium.
