Cornhuskers shuck competition

It looks like Miami's struggles against unranked Boston College was enough to sway the coaches into picking Nebraska as their No. 1 team. The
Hurricanes were treading on water throughout their game. If it hadn't been for a deflected pass that was returned for a touchdown, Miami could
have been looking at a 7-1 record.
 

Wittenburg honored

For the second consecutive week, senior outside hitter Jennifer Wittenburg was named Conference USA Player of the Week, after she led the
Cougars to a 2-1 record.
 

Tennis ace shines in tounament

Senior tennis star Sarah Borwell won her first two matches at the National Intercollegiate Indoor Tennis Championships in Dallas last weekend,
before falling in the third round to eventual tournament champion Bea Bielik of Wake Forest.
