Russia seeks partnership with U.S., Putin says

Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin told a Houston audience Wednesday that his formerly communist nation seeks an active partnership with the United States and its North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies to create a new international security structure.
 

EPA grants UH $3.5 million for research

A $3.5 million grant to UH from the Environmental Protection Agency will further environmental research initiatives at the Texas Learning and Computation Center, or TLC2.
 

SGA Senate discusses fee hikes

The cost of receiving an education at UH's C. T. Bauer College of Business could be on the rise, and one Student Government Association senator cautioned that student representatives should be on guard against fee increases in their respective colleges during Wednesday night's SGA senate meeting.
 

UHS Board of Regents gets three new members

Gov. Rick Perry appointed three new members to the UH System Board of Regents on Tuesday, replacing three members whose terms expired Aug. 31.
