Cloning is scientifically unethical

Sunday began as any ordinary morning does. At least it was ordinary until U.S. scientists made the announcement that they had cloned the first
human embryo. After that news, little about that day had anything resembling the color of 'ordinary'.

My life was first touched by AIDS in 1975. I just didn't know it until more than a decade later ... when my friend from college died. Even then, I
doubt I understood what it meant to have someone I knew die of AIDS, or just how frequently that would begin to occur in the lives of so many of
the people I would come to know.
