'Tis the season to be considerate

If you're anything like me, you too spend the entire year looking forward to the holiday season. I have dragged myself through the spring, summer and fall semesters just to get to this one month of excitement and tolerable weather. Winter Break always brings welcoming rest and relaxation from the stress of final exams and projects.

Cincinnati police are not to blame

In April, the city of Cincinnati was engulfed in racial riots. The catalyst was the death of a young black man after a police chase.

Trailer trash, trogldytes, trials and turkey: Thanksgiving

No imaginary level of safety is worth the trials and tribulations of air travel these days. The news can parade out all the human sheep to bleat about
how the extra security measures are worth their weight in lost human dignity, but to me it all had the feel of the beatings we got as kids: painful,
unnecessary and, of course, "for our own good."
