Pin Lim/The Daily Cougar

Water, water, everywhere, and also some to drink -- Registration and Academic Records employee Eleanor Williams has a
refreshing drink in the Ezekiel Cullen Building Tuesday.

The weather outside may have been gloomy, but the hundreds of students who gathered around the University Center Arbor on Wednesday afternoon were treated to a tropical paradise-themed party to kick off the first full week of school.

While the combining and blending of different genres becomes increasingly popular with rising bands, the distorted medley of electronic and hard rock is a difficult mixture to pull off in an appealing manner.

The moment of truth rapidly approaches. The Cougar faithful will finally get the opportunity to witness the arrival of Dana Dimel football at UH when the Cougars take on crosstown rival Rice Saturday in the season opener for both squads.
