The feathers fly when the Owls run

The moment of truth rapidly approaches. The Cougar faithful will finally get the opportunity to witness the arrival of Dana Dimel football at UH when the Cougars take on crosstown rival Rice Saturday in the season opener for both squads. 

UH Soccer star

Kara Bullinger doesn't awe you with her size. The soccer roster lists her at 5-6, and she stands at a bit less than that. The thing that does tend to
impress you about her is her presence on the field.

Cougar sport reaching for the sky

Having to do an interview for a basketball magazine that's still in the process of being published, I had the chance to talk with UH
women's basketball coach Joe Curl earlier this week. The big redhead -- standing an impressive 6-8 -- sang a familiar tune.
