It's a gusher: UH physical plant employees work in front of McElhinney Hall on Monday. Water was gushing near the building Monday afternoon,
at times rising a few feet.

In a Monday verdict whose rapid speed stunned even the attorneys involved, a jury ruled after less than an hour of deliberation that the University and the UH System retaliated against former assistant general counsel Susan Septimus and forced her to resign for making complaints against her then-boss, UH General Counsel Dennis Duffy.

The world as we know it is perhaps one of the strangest creations of the mind. I thought the world was simple when I was just a young lad growing up in the roughest parts of South Central Los Angeles. Boy, was I wrong.

All movies are not worth the $7.50, bad seats and stale popcorn to be able to watch them in theaters, but $2 for an evening at home with a rental sounds tempting.

Last time the Cougars rumbled with Southern Miss, UH senior guard Dominic Smith utterly dominated, scoring a career-high 38 points and leading his team to a convincing 74-66 victory at Hofheinz Pavilion.
