Cougars blow away the Bulls

The Cougars flexed their muscle, threw down explosive dunks and ran away from the South Florida Bulls on Tuesday, grabbing a commanding 91-75 victory, their most important of the season.

Golf team opens season on the Aloha State

Even if none of the UH men's golf team members ever make it to the PGA Tour, their golf skills will pay off this week as they travel to Kona, Hawaii, to begin the spring 2002 season in the Waikoloa Intercollegiate Tournament on the Waikoloa Kings Course. Tournament play begins today.

Tennessee loses fight to Longhorns

No. 3 Tennessee and No. 18 Texas interrupted conference play to match up the two winningest coaches in the history of women's college basketball the Longhorns' Jody Conradt and the Lady Vols' Pat Summitt.

Cougars can't win against Rice

The UH baseball team fell to Rice, 4-0, in the first game of the Silver Glove Series on Tuesday night. The game took place at Rice's Reckling Park.
