SFAC presntation have rocky beginning

The first day of Student Fees Advisory Committee presentations got off to a rough start, with representatives from the Student Government Association making a request for $25,000 in immediate funds four days before their scheduled presentation.
 

'Conflict of Interest'

The Student Fees Advisory Committee hearings got underway Friday, bringing to light many of the issues the committee will face.
 
 

UH to honor Lynn Eusan of the AAS

Students are still benefiting from the work of activist Lynn Eusan, UH's first black homecoming queen. Eusan was killed in 1971, but she was one of the founders of the University's African American Studies Program.
 

Philip Morris exec encourages openness in PR

The UH chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America united public relations and other communications students from an eight-state region Saturday for its first annual Communications Round-up Southeast Regional Keynote luncheon and seminar. The event featured Philip Morris U.S.A., the parent company of national and international tobacco products.
