UH gtes first Top 25 vote this week

This is UH. We do have a women's basketball program, one which is 19-6 overall and 9-3 in Conference USA play. Yes, I am a little biased (OK, very biased Go Coogs!), but I'm still just stating the facts.

Swimming takes fourth

The Houston swimming and diving teams got a fourth-place finish in the Conference USA Championships in Indianapolis.

Cougars win against Tulane in OT

The Cougars are on a roll. After defeating Tulane 85-81 in a thrilling overtime heart-stopper Tuesday night at Hofheinz Pavilion, UH moved to 15-11 overall. With an 8-5 conference record, the team secured sole possession of second place in C-USA's National Division. The Green Wave fell to 13-11 overall and 5-8 in C-USA.

Maryland duke show nation their big rivalry

Perhaps the best national rivalry in collegiate basketball today is between the Maryland Terrapins and the Duke Blue Devils. Maryland has always been overshadowed by Duke and North Carolina and never seems to get any national respect.
