Still got game: The Noontime Basketball Association plays a game Thursday at Garrison Gymnasium. The league is made up of UH faculty and staff and has held games for the past 30 years. Games are from noon to 1p.m. Monday through Friday.

 

The Student Fees Advisory Committee begins its final day of presentations at 8:45 a.m. today in the Bayou City Room of the University Center. The open meeting will conclude with an address from Vice President for Student Affairs Elwyn C. Lee at 2:30 p.m.


I was in my English class on Wednesday and we were discussing the fact that everyone should be equal. While this may not be revolutionary thinking, a few other students and I came to a conclusion about the human race that just might be: What if we did away with the whole "different races" concept? What if there were no more black, brown, yellow or white? What if these terms did not exist and more importantly, should they exist?


Bob Dylan's performance at RodeoHouston on Wednesday night was almost perfunctory. There was no greeting, no farewell, no banter just Dylan and his band taking the stage, performing 12 songs and departing.


The East Carolina Pirates are an average team at best
