UHPD on hunt for sexual assault suspect

Cougar News Staff

Investigative work done by the UH Police Department has developed a sketch of the suspect who sexually assaulted a woman on campus March 27.

Shortly before 8 p.m. that day, a UH female student was approached in the lobby of Agnes Arnold Hall by a young white male who asked her for her classroom notes. The two then entered Agnes Arnold Auditorium 2 when the male suspect began to sexually assault the woman. After the assault, the suspect fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect, also described as 6 feet tall and in his late teens or early 20s with brown hair and brown eyes, was known to be wearing a T-shirt and blue shorts and flip-flops.

Anyone with information or anyone who sees the suspect on or near campus is being asked to call UHPD at 713-743-3333.
