Solemn celebrations: Adam Hamil, a music education sophomore, leads
a group of UH students on Fridy in the stations of the cross, a Catholic
observance of the suffering of Jesus Christ. Eugene Boavo, a UH alumni,
serves as the crossbearer. Tim peoples, a English junior, left, prays.
When one thinks of the typical UH student, certain characteristics
may come to mind. This student may be older than a typical one. Probably
working through college.
It appears that country bumpkins aren't the only creatures
dazzled and seduced by the bright lights of the Big City.
A billiken is supposed to be a good luck charm. It didnit
work for Saint Louis. The Cougars made the most of their good luck by completing
a three-game sweep of the Billikens on Sunday at Cougar Field.
