New freedom of expression policy complete
UH's new freedom of expression policy, not yet a month old, has yet to endure any major trials, and Dean of Students William Munson is confident that its new focus on organized activities will help administrators strike a balance between fostering a marketplace of ideas and managing the day-to-day operations of the University.

Government fuels drug war
A few nights ago I purchased an overly-priced ticket and an overly-priced popcorn and coke to see the overly-done shoot-em-up action film, Bad Boys II. For the record I would like to say that my choice to see the film was based on a complete lack of alternatives, not merely a lack of judgment on my own part. Now don't get me wrong, the movie wasn't Cable Guy bad, but its painful lack of originality (despite overblown attempts to dazzle) from the rest of the action genre was the nail in the coffin for me.
