Walking for a cause: The American Cancer Society and the United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast held the third annual "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk at UH on Saturday. About 5,000 walkers covered the 4.5-mile route, and aimed to raise $250,000 for research, patient services and educational programs. October is breast cancer awareness month.
