Cougars come home
With no more time to grow up and a glowing bowl berth on the horizon, the Houston Cougarsi 2002 Homecoming game against East Carolina has built itself to be quite the showdown.
 

ECU looks down on UH fans
Houston, we have a problem. Scratch that. East Carolina has a problem with Houston. Scratch that. Let me clarify. East Carolinais head coach, Steve Logan, has a problem with UHis fan support. Logan claims the lack of fans at Robertson Stadium makes it difficult for his kitty Pirates to get excited.
 

UH loses to ECU in 1st round
The UH soccer team lost to East Carolina 2-0 in the first round of the Conference USA Womenis Soccer Tournament on Wednesday to end the season on a disappointing note in Charlotte, N.C. East Carolina is going on to play Cincinnati at 5 p.m. today. The No. 2 Lady Bearcats blew past No. 7 South Florida 3-1 earlier in the day to advance to the semifinals.
 

Depleted volleyball team keeps battling
Victory knocked on the Cougarsi door last weekend and the seven-player volleyball team answered, inviting in wins over Conference USA foes DePaul and Marquette and improving its record to 16-7 (6-2 in C-USA).
