Cougars bow before Queen City
CINCINNATI Houston scored the first touchdown of the game and the last touchdown of the game. In between, Cincinnati scored 44 unanswered points. Little went the way Houston had hoped it would, and the result was not surprising: a 47-14 loss to the Bearcats on a cold and windy day in the Queen City on Saturday.
 

Foresight can prevent date rape
In no way, shape or form are rape or sexual assault acceptable. The ongoing debate over the roles each sex plays in these deviant acts is such a touchy subject that it often discourages individuals to voice their true opinions. However, it is also important that this issue be properly addressed to ease the burden of avoiding pitfalls, especially here on a college campus, often a prime environment for sexual deviance.
 

Curl's not impressed
It was the final tune-up game before the regular seasonis beginning, but UH womenis basketball head coach Joe Curl wasnit entirely impressed with the Lady Cougarsi 86-72 win Friday night against the Houston Flight. Despite the teamis 14-point win, putting it 6-0 in exhibition in three seasons, Curl was disappointed with the teamis performance.
