Curl's not impressed
It was the final tune-up game before the regular seasonis beginning, but UH womenis basketball head coach Joe Curl wasnit entirely impressed with the Lady Cougarsi 86-72 win Friday night against the Houston Flight. Despite the teamis 14-point win, putting it 6-0 in exhibition in three seasons, Curl was disappointed with the teamis performance.
 

Costly mistakes keep adding up for the Cougars
As the Cincinnati Bearcats slapped the Cougars with a 47-14 loss, the teamis final road effort was marred by six turnovers. And whether it was one or six, turnovers have tainted some of the Cougarsi most promising moments of the season.

Frigid.

After taking a pounding on the frozen turf of Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati, thatis how the Cougars must feel. Everything was ice-cold for the Cougars on Saturday. 
 

Cougars sink Indians at the Nat'
The Cougarsi swimming and diving team mangled Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday for the sixth consecutive time, beating the Indians 159-130.
 

Volleyball gets healthy; Runners finish in eighth
The UH volleyball team sprang back from a four-game loss to Charlotte on Friday by beating East Carolina (6-25, 0-12 in Conference USA) on Saturday to finish the regular season at 17-11 (7-6 in-conference). The conference tournament begins Friday in Chicago.
