Jingle Jam brings
pop acts to stage
Houston radio station 104.1 KRBE will bring its annual
holiday concert back to the Compaq Center on Thursday night. The fourth
annual Jingle Jam will include pop performances from several of todays
Top 40 artists.
Roots 'Phrenology' drifts across
Thereis the legendary Roots mini-series. Thereis also
the legendary Roots (for all those Canadians out there) clothing company.
There is even the legendarily annoying Nappy Roots. But, there is only
one, just one, legendary Roots crew.
At 60, Mc Cartney amplifies staying
Back in the U.S. serves as an impeccable greatest hits
album, featuring 35 Beatles, Wings and solo hits written or arranged by
Sir Paul McCartney. Listening to every song makes one sit back in awe of
the genius who can credit himself half of one of the greatest songwriting
duos of all time.
Wrestling's not dead; it's just
in state of flux
It's odd that, in the four years this column has run
in The Daily Cougar, my love of professional wrestling has waned to the
point that missing a show barely registers. It probably has a lot to do
with the nature of journalism and how it trains you to question everything,
to be a cynic.
