Happy holidays from us to you: Members of The Daily Cougar staff trim a Christmas tree Sunday in the newsroom. Todayis issue the last of the semester, but campus news junkies need not fret. Breaking News, the weekly winter online version of the paper, will be available at starting Thursday and every Wednesday (except Dec. 25) until classes start Jan. 13.


Art Briles promises to lead Cougars back
If nothing else, at least new football head coach Art Briles will have the support of the Cougar fanbase.

Jingle Jam, 104 KRBE's fourth annual winter concert, drew in more than its usual screaming teeny-boppers Thursday night at the Compaq Center. A surprisingly diverse crowd showed up to watch performances from Destiny's Child, Nick Carter, O-Town and Uncle Kracker.
