Newly released DVDs make for a great "Blockbuster night"

Take a break from studying, and rent or buy one of these much-awaited new DVD releases.

Robin Williamis One Hour Photo is the most anticipated DVD release of the week.

Funny man Williams, also one of the best improv comedians, plays a not-so-funny creepy photo lab worker, Sy Parish. Parish painstakingly developed photographs for the Yorkin family since their son was a baby. But as the Yorkinis lives become fuller, Sy's only seems lonelier, until he eventually convinces himself he's part of their family. His job becomes an unhealthy obsession when he learns of something that might break the Yorkinis apart. One Hour Photo also stars Connie Nielson, Dylan Smith and Michael Vartan. Mathew Romanek whois also known for directing breakthrough music video, Michael Jacksonis Scream, directed One Hour Photo.

Set at an affluent New England liberal arts college, Rules of Attraction takes a look at sexual triangle between a drug dealer. The cafeteria girl loves the drug dealer who loves the virgin that is loved by the bisexual who loves them all.

Based on the 1988 novel of the same title by Bret Easton Ellis, of American Psycho fame, Rules of Attraction stars Dawson Creekis James Van Der Beek, 7th Heavenis Jessica Biel, Wonder Yearsi Fred Savage and Faye Dunaway.

"Sex, drugs and rack 'n' ruin; pretty people doing nasty things to one another ... honestly, what more could you want in a movie?" Time magazine said.

Ash Wednesday, is a melancholy tale of brotherly love and redemption set in the darkly atmospheric Irish American underworld of Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen. The film takes place between sunrise and sunset on Ash Wednesday 1983.

Sean Sullivan is killed in a vendetta. Three years later, Sean's brother Francis receives word that Sean may be alive, but the truth isn't always what it seems in this neighborhood, where violence and betrayal are the local currency.

Ash Wednesdayis cast includes Elijah Wood, Rosario Dawson, Oliver Platt and the movieis director and scriptwriter is Edward Burns.

Foreign set film Late Marriage is also released today. Late Marriage is set within the Georgian community of Tel Aviviate Marriage is a sexy and biting comedy of manners that investigates what happens when people get stuck and have to choose between true love and family tradition.
