UH trying to balance demand, enrollment
Despite more stringent admissions procedures, UH enrollment has reached an all-time high, leaving the question of how to balance limited resources with the traditional mission of educating the working man.

John Kerry ready for a tough fight
Tuesday in Washington, D.C., amongst a sea of navy blue campaign signs, a 6-foot-4-inch, stoic, gray haired man gave his victory speech, and became the Democratic nominee for president. Exactly eight months to the day before the presidential election, the fight for John Kerry's political life has begun, but his fight for America began long ago.

Speculation often far off the mark
When you write for a paper -- when you do anything really -- you make mistakes. Like saying winning is the only thing that should matter to Houston's next men's basketball coach.

Go south for spring
