To understand my despair with the state of rock 'n' roll today (and I spend plenty of time contemplating it) one fact must be established: Rock 'n' roll is synonymous with youth. The music is loud, rebellious, isn't thought out but is bursting with energy and ideals -- just like your stereotypical teenager.
