Senate approves smoking ban
The Student Government Association Senate made the most of a short meeting Wednesday, passing a major piece of smoking legislation and a pair of bills aimed at curbing the use of students' Social Security numbers for administrative purposes.
 

Media serves agenda, not truth
The liberal press hates President Bush with such a passion that it affects how journalists report the news, as if they are engaging in a concerted effort to report in a way that will assure John Kerry's election. Only the most liberal person could fail to see this bias ? there are news stories on a daily basis concerning the unrest in Iraq, but success stories are rarely reported.

When Juan Diaz cut loose with a lightning left hook, thunder rolled across the Savannah Boxing Club training center in southwest Houston. The sound of the impact turned heads.
 

Warped winds down in 10th
The weather was not on Houston's side Friday, as severe rain forced the Vans Warped Tour to postpone its opening date here until Monday.
