Ranking in the nationis top five colleges of its kind is not an easy feat, but thanks to its close proximity to Houstonis booming restaurant industry it is one the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management consistently manages.

I'm opening this week's column by making a general announcement. I'm considering adding a major, specifically secondary education. I will keep the biology major, as I still intend to go into medicine, but I have my reasons for adding an education major, which is hard to explain, but it makes sense to me.
 

Houston battles Huston, Rice Owls
The UH soccer team should have plenty of incentive to win when it takes on Rice (2-6-1) at 7 p.m. at Robertson Stadium today. The Cougars (2-8-1) will try to snap a four-game losing streak. They will also be facing their cross-town rival, which is coached by former UH head coach Chris Huston.
 

Devoted fans flock to Radiohead
Radioheadis concert Wednesday at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion was an unscathed performance of their musical creativity.
