Regents direct University's future path
Troy Le, a sophomore University Studies student, admits he's not familiar with the Board of Regents, the University's top governing body, but he understands "they must be pretty important," if only in vague terms. He becomes interested only when he learns that it was the Board of Regents that approved a tuition hike over the summer that brought in $19 million.

Squirrels are in need of equality
Last week a necromancer-columnist raised the specter of affirmative action on the Opinion page. Menil exhibits Russian collection
If you've never been to the Menil Collection, this might be the time to go. Located at 1515 Sul Ross St. in the heart of the Montrose, the museum is a Houston treasure, and it opened two special exhibits Friday: Kazimir Malevich: Suprematism and Tabletki: Russian Icons from the Menil Collection.
