Vehicles have some worried
The campus utility vehicles seen zipping around UH grounds aren't required to follow any UH or state regulations, which could account for some of the problems students have reported concerning the little carts.

New programs seek to energize students
In an effort to help students become more active, the Department of Health and Human Performance will offer an array of new sports to choose from for a one-hour credit in Spring 2004.

CAPS offers tips that can help fight stress
When students need help dealing with unhealthy levels of stress or finding a balance between their studies, career, family and relationships they can turn to both the Counseling and Psychological Services offices and the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center to develop strategies to cut stress.

Students get a dose of reality on depression
The story was real. The disease is real. But life beyond depression is also real.

Students set to hear astronaut
To help increase African-American enrollment, 1,000 black area high school students will visit UH on Thursday, where they will meet with African-American alumni, faculty, staff and students and learn about college life.

In Tuesday's edition, the page 1 graph "Diversity of Enrollment, 2003" for the Honors College incorrectly labeled the percentage of students classified as "White/Other." The enrollment of the Honors College is 50 percent White/Other, not 35.2 percent. Percentage totals may not add up to 100 because the statistics were subject to rounding.
