SGA approves election board, calendar
The Student Government Association Senate named its Election Commission and approved the calendar for this year's general election during an emergency meeting Wednesday.

Jackson's halftime 'exposure' no accident
Oh, MTV. You're such a canny, savvy corporate monster. You engineer publicity with the utmost aplomb. At the 2003 Video Music Awards, you had Madonna and Britney Spears kiss. Add to that the humiliated reaction shot of Justin Timberlake, Spears' ex-boyfriend, and you've got the continuation of an ongoing feud, which is always darn good TV.

Holding the Line
In just his second recruiting class at UH, head coach Art Briles went big, signing 21 players, eight of whom will play with the big boys on the offensive and defensive line.

Coming home
Danica Dawn is a second year master's student in the Moores School of Music where she studies vocal performance. Dawn will perform in the difficult role of an old and crazed Miss Havisham in this Sunday's 2:30 performance of Miss Havisham's Fire. She said the "musical language is sophisticated" and "exciting."
