shame in being a USD major
"So, what do you want to be when you grow up?" Since
kindergarten, that question has been the bane of my existence. Everywhere
I turned, overly cheerful teachers and relatives of ambiguous origin bombarded
me with that dreaded inquiry. As I was only about five years old at the
time, I did not have the most well-thought-out answer: "I want to be a
pirate. Arr!" Now, thirteen years later, I can safely say that a career
in piracy has taken a backseat to more socially acceptable career possibilities.
But I still haven't gotten any closer to answering that question.
rules conference play
The Conference USA football season got off to an explosive
and high scoring start this Labor Day weekend, as all but one conference
team took the field, and many games turned into high scoring affairs.
Sparrow to play
This weekend provides a lot of diverse shows to go and
check out. If you head to Fitzgerald's on Friday night there is a pretty
good local rock 'n roll show featuring the Down and Dirties, C'Mon C'Mon,
The Lusties and Dirty Mind.
