Deathtrap, Broadway's longest running mystery, opened at the Alley Theatre, 615 Texas Ave., Saturday and lived up to the standards that Levin so stealthily hid in the character's dialogue. Director and resident actor James Black lived up to Levin/Bruhl's prediction when he says, "Even a gifted director couldn't hurt it."
