UH students get 'one-stop' Web shop
Beginning in the spring, UH students will be able to access a pilot version of the UH portal, a customizable Web page for students with links to essential University services and special features like news, weather and contact information. 

A palatable problem
Super Size Me, a documentary about the risks of fast food consumption, had a short run through theaters a few months ago. Although the film won many awards at assorted prestigious film festivals and received many good reviews, very few people managed to see the movie. 

Cougars fall to Dallas-Ft. Worth teams
The Cougars had a tough weekend as they traveled to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and fell against conference rival Texas Christian University and non-conference Southern Methodist University.

The face of uncertainty
On Wednesday, art meets activism as a traveling photo-documentary visits the Houston Public Library. After making stops from California to New York, the exhibit, Denied: The Crisis of America's Uninsured, makes its Bayou City appearance Oct. 13-17, in an effort to show Houstonians the stark reality facing the uninsured in the United States.
