Quick change: Team Money Shot competes in the Shell Campus Pit Stop Challenge near the Cullen College of Engineering on Thursday, trying to beat the clock changing the tire on an authentic Ferrari racing car. Teams of three students competed for the best time; the winning team, Chuck E. Cheese, was made up of industrial engineering seniors Charles Anyanwu and Michael Kalita and chemical engineering senior Andrew Chen.

The smoking ban has been a hot topic on campus for months. Many nonsmokers want smoking outlawed within a certain distance of buildings while some smokers feel they shouldn't be forced to walk that far from a building to get their nicotine fix.

The Big Easy kicks off the fall the only way it knows how -- with a melting pot of music, booze and black magic. Big-name and indie bands will help New Orleans conjure the spirits of music fans across the nation for the two-day event known as Voodoo Fest.
