Remembering the fallen: Hundreds of flags covered the hill in front of the UC Satellite on Tuesday in honor of the American soldiers and Iraqi civilians who have died in the war in Iraq as a part of Sigma Lambda Beta's Fallen War Memorial. Today, the memorial continues with a Christian and Muslim prayer service at 12:45 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.


Rival proposals seek to reign on revenues
Propositions 1 and 2 may not have the glamour of Bush or Kerry, but the choice between competing proposals on Nov. 2 may have an even greater impact on average Houstonians than the high-profile race at the top of the ticket.
