Weekend concerts filled with variety
As school begins to get going there are surprisingly few shows this weekend. But don't worry, because there are some pretty cool ones to check out.

Luminaria's lyrics can't save its long lullabies
There are only so many sensitive singer-songwriters who are up to par, but Ian Moore doesn't meet the requirements. His first album on Yep Roc Records, Luminaria, released earlier this week, is full of slow love songs that try to mimic the likes of Jack Johnson and John Mayer, but fail horribly.

Young Buck perfect for local rap radio
Like any self-respecting Southern rapper, Young Buck, a Nashville, Tenn., native, had to have some Lil Jon production and a verse by Ludacris before he put out his solo debut Straight Outta Ca$hville.

Recreation a matter of personal choice
Everyone has his or her own idea of what is enjoyable and what is terribly unbearable, and people should learn to respect others' preferences. Everyone has the right to his or her opinion.
