Students light flame for fallen
More than 150 UH students turned out for a candlelight vigil Monday in honor of three members of the Sigma Pi fraternity who died in a car accident Oct. 24.

In the final week before the election, 61 Iraqi soldiers ? unescorted and unarmed ? were kidnapped. At this writing, 50 had been executed in cold blood. In the weeks before, Dick Cheney and other high-level members of the Bush administration insisted that Democrats have been taking a dismissive view of the Iraqis who put their lives on the line for a new and free Iraq.
