Gameday: The Cougars traveled to Birmingham, Ala., on Saturday for their last road game of the season and fell 20-7 to the Alabama-Birmingham Blazers. The Cougars went 0-6 this season on the road, making it the first time since 2001.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Cougar defense made a valiant effort, but the Alabama-Birmingham Blazers proved too much as they defeated Houston 20-7 in an old-fashioned, "down and dirty" game Saturday.
