All eyes on the postseason
In her fifth season at the helm of the Cougar softball program, head coach Kyla Holas has her sights set on getting back to the playoffs and winning a conference championship.

Cougars get wiped out by Green Wave in last minute
It was a game that many of the 3,897 in attendance would have likely chalked up as an easy W for the Houston Cougars, but the Tulane Green Wave spoiled the party thanks to an up-and-under 15-footer with 2.1 seconds by freshman guard Taylor Rochestie, helping the Green Wave upset the Cougars 63-61 Wednesday at Hofheinz Pavilion.

Penders says Cougars' confidence growing
UH head coach Tom Penders has brought major change to the Cougar basketball program in just half a season. The Daily Cougar sat down with Penders to get a sense of the team--s identity and if it had lived up to Penders-- expectations. 

Cougars on track to make it to the Big Dance in '05
UH head coach Tom Penders is once again living up to his name as "Mr. Fix It." The Cougars (12-8) surpassed their win total from last year two weeks ago when they won their 10th game.

Boilermaker wants to be a Cougar
UH has acquired six early signees from high school, but just recently another person announced she was going to be a Lady Cougar next fall.
