Five candidates for UH provost will visit the campus beginning today, marking the second round of on-campus interviews and meetings in the search for the University and UH System's academic chief.

Bible not to be taken so literally
Being a converted Catholic, I have no problem with the Bible. It's a great source of philosophical, moral and historical insight. Many look to it for ethical guidance, but in very few instances do I take its wording literally. 

Some Super Bowl fans may not have enjoyed halftime
The denouement of the NFL season came with two facts that didn't surprise the masses: First, the New England Patriots won another Super Bowl.
