How 'bout them 'Stros?: Though the Astros succumbed to the St. Louis Cardinals in the ninth inning on Monday night, fans around campus and around the city are clearly behind their home team. The Astros have another chance at clinching Houston's first World Series appearance when they face the Cardinals in St. Louis at 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Center will meet flu shot need
Starting Monday, flu vaccinations will be available to UH faculty, students and staff for $16 in the UH Health Center. As of now, the shot is only available to those who meet Center for Disease Control standards. 
 

Iraqi vote shows dubious progress
This weekend the Iraqi people voted on a new constitution. However, to call it a constitution would be a great leap.
 

UH runners cross line among best
In his last race, before the conference championships begin, senior Maurilio Sanchez was the first Cougar to cross the finish line Monday at the Buffalo Bayou Invitational held at the Buffalo Bayou Park. 
 

Dark Ages illuminated in library
A new exhibit at the M.D. Anderson Memorial Library will give students the opportunity to explore medieval times through various replicated items and manuscripts.
