TV ignoramuses not
It was an awkward moment. I was the
only one with my hand raised high. But it sunk sheepishly back into my
lap, as all eyes, including the professor's, wide with amazement, were
trained on me.

In 1980 Ted Turner launched CNN, the
first television network dedicated solely to the reporting of "news". Twenty-five
years later, CNN is still up and running, along with sister station CNN
Headline News. MSNBC and Fox News have followed suit.
