Overall, enrollment keeping level
Enrollment numbers for Fall 2005 did not increase dramatically from the previous year, but improved enrollment initiatives have brought more transfer students, international students and freshmen with higher entrance exam scores to UH.

Salinas endorsed by ex-opponents
With a runoff election more than two weeks away, the four candidates who were eliminated in the Nov. 8 election have endorsed Laura Salinas, a recent UH graduate and former Student Government Association student regent, who they said would be an independent voice for House District 143.

Senate taking a holiday
The Student Government Association Senate will not meet this week because of the Thanksgiving holidays. It will next meet Dec. 7, four weeks after the last SGA meeting Nov. 9. 

UHPD offers tips on keeping season safe
The holiday season is a peak time for home burglaries, thefts and muggings. Just as students are gearing up for some time off from classes, thieves are getting ready to pull some overtime.
