Student research gets the spotlight
The Latin American Cultural Activities and Studies Arena Student Editorial Group and the Spanish Graduate Student Organization will host the second annual Graduate Student Conference at noon Friday at the Roy Cullen Building.
 

Friedman, Ventura encourage student to get to polls
Kinky Friedman, an independent Texas gubernatorial candidate, came to UH on Wednesday to stress the importance of young people voting.
 

Craig, SGA discuss textbook resolution
Faculty Senate President Steven Craig encouraged the SGA Senate to work for a textbook resolution at Wednesday's meeting.
 

CLASS students voice concerns at town hall
Students inquired about student participation and filed a complaint concerning on-campus microwaves at Wednesday's Student Government Association town hall meeting.
 

Noor to impart wisdom in Houston
Queen Noor of Jordan will speak at 7 p.m. on Oct. 2 in the Sarofim Hall at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.
